علم کی اہمیت ۲۱جون ۲۰۲۱ء۔ .Importance of knowledge

 

السلام و علیکم شروع کرتی ہوں اس پاک ذات کےنام سے جس نے ہمارے دلوں کو ایمان کی روشنی بخشی اور ہمیں بے شمار نعمتوں سے نوازا ہے اور اپنی رحمتیں اور برکتیں عطا کیں ۔ اور ہمیں ایسا دین اسلام عطا کیا ۔ جس نے ہر اس چیز کو اہمیت دی جسے لوگ برا جانتے تھے اور لوگوں کو جس چیز کے متعلق کوئی علم نہیں تھا اسے دنیا کے سامنے ایک نئے اور خوبصورت انداز میں پیش کیا ۔ زندگی کے اندھیروں میں ڈوبنے کی ایک وجہ لاشعوری تھی ۔ اس لاشعوری کو ختم کرنے کے لیے علم حاصل کرنے کی طرف راغب کیا اور اس کو خاص اہمیت دی اور اس کو حاصل کرنے والے کو معتبر قرار دیا گیا ۔                                               

         علم کیا ہے تو پتہ چلا کہ علم بنیاد ہے علم شرف ہے انسان کے لیے علم وجہ عزت ہے اس لیے علم حاصل کرنا زندگی کی خوبصورتی ہے ۔ اور پھر ہم جس دین سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں اس دین کا آغاز ہی اقراء سے ہوتا ہے ۔                              فرمایا گیا کہ" ماں کی گود سے لے کر قبر تک علم حاصل کرو"۔ خواہ تمہیں کتنی ہی تکالیف کیوں نا اٹھانی پڑے کتنا ہی سفر کیوں نا کرنا پڑے ۔علم کے حصول کے لیےچاہے چین ہی کیوں نا جانا پڑے جاؤ ۔ راہوں کی مشکلات اور سختیاں برداشت کرو مگر علم لے کر آؤں۔ علم مومن کا گمشدہ خزانہ ہے۔اور گمشدہ خزانہ جس کو مل جائے اس کی دنیا ہی بدل جاتی ہے ۔اور یہ تو ایسا گمشدہ خزانہ ہے جس کے مل جانے سے دنیا کے ساتھ ساتھ آخرت بھی سنور جاتی ہے ۔مگر آج کے اس جدید دور میں علم حاصل کرنا مشکل نہیں نا ہی زیادہ سفر کرنا پڑتا ہے ہر چیز کا شعور ہونے کے باوجود لاشعوری کا شکار ہے اور علم کے باوجود عمل نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے اپنی دنیا اور آخرت برباد کیے بیٹھا ہے ۔                  علم کی جستجو میں مبتلا انسان کسی بھی شے کے حصول سے عاری ہو جاتا ہے علم کی بدولت اسے سب چیزوں سے نوازا دیا جاتا ہے ۔   

                                                        حضرت ابن عباس ؓ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام کو اختیار دیا گیا کہ چاہے مال لے لو ، چاہے سلطنت لے لو ، چاہے علم لے لو وہ کہنے لگے مالک مجھے علم عطا کر دے۔ فرمایا گیا اس کے صدقے میں تمہیں مال اور سلطنت بھی عطا کر دی گئی ۔                                                          علم کے پیچھے پیچھے چل کر آنے کا صلہ ایسے ہی ملتا ہے اس دنیا میں اور آخرت میں بھی اس کا مقام بلند ہوتا ہے۔ علماء کے مطابق ،ایک بیمار انسان جسے ڈاکٹر یہ کہ دے کہ اس کے بچنے کی کوئی امید نہیں اس کی اب بس خدمت کی جائے تو وہ نوافل پڑھے نمازیں ادا کرے اپنے گناہوں کی معافی مانگے بلاشبہ اس بیماری والے انسان کو ایسا ہی کرنا چاہیے مگر علماء کرام یہ رائے دیتے ہیں اسے چاہیے کہ وہ علم حاصل کرنے لگ جائے تاکہ اس کی موت حالت طالبعلمی میں ہو ۔ایک حدیث میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ" جو شخص علم حاصل کرنے میں مصروف ہو اس مقصد کے لیے کہ اسلام کو زندہ رکھے تعلیم حاصل کرتے کرتے طالبعلمی میں ہی انتقال کر گیا تو قیامت کے دن اس کے اور انبیاء کرام کے درمیان صرف ایک درجے کا فرق ہو گا"۔           علم کی وجہ سے اسے یہ شان ، درجہ اور عظمت نصیب ہوئی ۔ علم عمل سے بہتر ہے کیونکہ عمل صفت لعبد ہے اور علم صفت اللہ ہے صفت باری تعالی ہے۔ اور بندوں کی صفت سے صفت اللہ بہتر ہے ۔ اللہ ہم سب کو علم کی جستجو میں مبتلا رکھے اور اس کے صدقے ہماری دنیا و آخرت میں سرخرو کرے ۔ اللہ تعالی سب کےلئے آسانیاں پیدا فرمائیں دعاؤں میں یاد رکھیں ۔                      ______________________________________________ English Translation: 

I begin with the name of the Holy One who has enlightened our hearts with faith and blessed us with innumerable blessings and bestowed His blessings and blessings.  And Islam gave us such a religion.  He gave importance to everything that people knew was bad and presented to the world in a new and beautiful way what people did not know about.  One of the reasons for the darkness of life was unconsciousness.  In order to eradicate this unconsciousness, he was attracted to acquire knowledge and gave special importance to it and the one who acquires it was declared trustworthy.  What is knowledge?

It is known that knowledge is the basis. Knowledge is honor. For man, knowledge is the cause of honor. Therefore, acquiring knowledge is the beauty of life.  And then the religion we belong to begins with Iqra.  It was said, "Get knowledge from the mother's lap to the grave."  No matter how much you have to suffer, no matter how much you have to travel. No matter how much you have to go to China to acquire knowledge.  Endure the difficulties and hardships of the path but bring knowledge.  Knowledge is the lost treasure of the believer. And the lost treasure changes the world of the one who finds it. And it is such a lost treasure that by finding it, the world as well as the Hereafter is enlightened. But in today's modern age  It is not difficult for me to acquire knowledge nor do I have to travel much. Despite being aware of everything, I am suffering from unconsciousness and I have ruined my world and the hereafter due to lack of action despite knowledge.  A person in search of knowledge is deprived of the attainment of anything. Thanks to knowledge, he is endowed with all things. 

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Hazrat Sulaiman (peace be upon him) was given the authority to take wealth, whether to take kingdom or to take knowledge. He said: O master, grant me knowledge. It was said that in his charity you were given wealth and kingdom.   This is how one is rewarded for following knowledge. His place in this world and in the Hereafter is also elevated.  According to the scholars, a sick person to whom the doctor says that there is no hope of his survival, if he is just served now, he should perform Nawafil prayers and ask forgiveness for his sins. Of course, a sick person should do the same, but  The scholars are of the opinion that he should start acquiring knowledge so that he dies while still a student.

In a hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever is engaged in acquiring knowledge for the purpose of  If he dies while still a student while keeping Islam alive, then on the Day of Judgment there will be only one degree difference between him and the Holy Prophets.  Knowledge gave him this glory, status and greatness.  Knowledge is better than action because action is an attribute of a slave and knowledge is an attribute of Allah.  And the attribute of Allah is better than the attribute of servants.  May Allah keep us all engaged in the pursuit of knowledge and bestow His charity in our world and hereafter.  May Allah Almighty make it easy for everyone.
